L.B. Abernathy is fierce litigator in the Family Law Arena. Licensed in Arkansas in 2017, he immediately began to get as much courtroom experience as possible. Born and raised on a farm in McGehee, Arkansas, L.B. is just as comfortable in a suit and tie as a pair of work boots.
L.B. graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in Monticello, Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2011 and received a Juris Doctorate from William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas.
L.B. has extensive experience in Criminal, Family and Civil Law matters. He shared the responsibility of litigating all Orders of Protection in the 10th Judicial District, consisting of Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha and Drew County, Arkansas. He served as Parent Counsel in Jefferson and Lincoln County, Arkansas. L.B. underwent training and is certified as an ad litem. L.B. also achieved Partner at Copelin & Abernathy Law Firm.
L.B. brings experience and a proven track record of success in the Criminal and Family Law Area, and is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association.
